Do you know a health care professional, team, administrator or organization that has made an exemplary innovation in patient-centred care?
If so, consider nominating them for the next iteration of the Merck Patients First Award, anticipated to take place in 2021.
A few important considerations:
- Nominees must be informed of and have agreed to their nomination. You must ensure to obtain the nominee’s authorization prior to submitting the nomination.
- All eligible submissions will be reviewed within two months of the closing date by an advisory review board.
- Up to nine submissions will be selected for an award (up to 3 in Ontario, 3 in Quebec, 2 in the West, and 1 from Atlantic / Northwest Territories). The final number of awards will depend on the number of submissions received.
- Award recipients will be notified in writing within 2 months of the review board meeting and, with their written permission, their names / stories will be subsequently published on this website and other Merck channels in Canada to support sharing of best practices in patient-centred care.
The 2019 competition is now closed.
